RECORD SCRATCH is Kara’s second memoir.
In February, 2022, Kara experienced the worst case scenario: her youngest son, Jake, tragically died. He was 16.
The record needle scratched across vinyl, the world seemed to stop and stare for an awkward moment, then life resumed to normalcy – except for the person who experienced the record scratch moment.
